My name is Lynn Patton and since I grew up in the 70’s I have always carried with me the notion of eco friendly. Like a lot of today’s crafters I love to find something discarded and remake it into something new.
I started Lazypeas about 15 years ago making cards using vintage paper goods and photographs. I learned to sew at a young age so I particularly liked working with fabrics. In the last few years I have settled into buying my fabric supplies at local thrift stores and transforming them with hand and machine stitching. I especially like felting wool sweaters, pants and skirts to make small animals, wristlets and bags.
I moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2003 and fell in love with the people and the city. The energy, the blue collar common sense, and the creativeness are all here and make it a great city to be in.
Besides the I Made It markets, I sell my items In the Strip on most Saturdays at 20th and Penn and on line in my etsy store call Lazypeas.
