Deena November teaches Creative Writing and English at Carlow and Seton Hill University.¬† In 2005 she co-edited the anthology I JUST HOPE IT’S LETHAL: Poems of Sadness, Madness, and Joy for Houghton Mifflin. Her poems have also appeared in Pittsburgh City Paper, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Shaking Like a Mountain, Nerve Cowboy, Chiron Review, and Keyhole Magazine. When she isn’t grading papers, she is climbing muddy landslides looking for vines that inspire her to create wreaths and moss gardens. Her passion is scavenging through thrift stores and boxes of unwanted chatchkies which she repurposed in her nature inspired jewelry and terrariums. You can often find her walking her dog as she picks up unique branches around her North Side neighborhood. www.uppercaseG.etsy.com (Name inspired by my dog Giles). chotchkiesre-purposed
