We had a great time our first day of the Three Rivers Arts Festival.
Little kids, big kids, parents, and even puppies got in on the crafting action. We made clay tiles, bugs and beads, paper flowers, beaded jewelry and turned recycled used paper into new art paper. Thank you to our crafters: Go Carr Go Art Studio, KateGJewelry, talking paint and robyn’s nest pottery.
Today was so much fun we can’t wait for tomorrow when we will offer these crafty projects:
Charmed By Nature
(12 – 4 pm)
Transforming old books into envelopes. Pick a page from a variety of colorfully illustrated found books and create an envelope and a hand stamped notecard to go inside.
And wirewrapping with Adina’s Artistry, Japanese origami with Kuro Neko Studios, fiber arts with Upcycled Designs, and fun magnets with Maude’s Place and Mad Lily.
See you at the Festival!
