“Redd Up” your closet and take advantage of others’ cast-offs by participating in this exciting clothing swap. All proceeds benefit the Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, a United Way organization.
Participants who complete a donor form when they drop-off their donation the week of the event will receive a free tote bag to shop at the event. Additional tote bags can be purchased for $5. The snazzy bags were printed by Commonwealth Press. For a little added excitement during the event, crafty demos will be presented by members of the Pittsburgh Craft Collective.
Participants are urged to bring their gently used men’s and women’s clothing and accessories to the WYEP Community Broadcast Center lobby the week before the event. Donations will be accepted Nov 1-5, during WYEP’s normal business hours and until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, and Friday, November 5.
