Creating Hand Beaded Clasps Saturday
Do your handmade jewelry justice by using handmade findings.Students use flat and circular peyote stitch techniques to make a toggle clasp. The clasp can be made to match any design or as the focal point of a piece. Keep it simple or embellish it with crystals or glass beads – the possibilities are endless. Some experience with peyote stitch is recommended and students are encouraged to bring magnifying glasses and/or a small work light.
