I Made It! Market is on the move, this time to the Eastern Suburbs!
{Where} We’ll pop into Gateway High School {map}
{When} Saturday, April 9th from 12 – 4 pm
{Who else will be there} We’ll be down the hall from the annual fund-raising event, Memory Marathon, a day-long annual creative event {where ladies spend the whole day scrap-booking for charity}.
{Who is the beneficiary charity} The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater PA
{Why} Did you realize that 1/2 of our mission is to raise awareness and funds for non-profit, community and arts organizations? Well, it is! So come and support local artists and Best Buddies and your heart will grow for having done it!
We are also excited to include student creative entrepreneurs from Gateway to celebrate handmade and its ability to evoke positive experiences through collaboration and as a means of creative new businesses.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see crafty demos throughout the day and to enter to win handmade and other wares through an auction benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association. Word is that there might also be a bake sale! You know you want to take a step back to high school and join us for a few hours of crafty fun in the ‘burbs.
Gateway High School is easily accessible from the Parkway {RT 376E} and the PA Turnpike. Free parking is available and two parking areas will be marked with easy to follow signs at the event.
