The Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center adheres to a strict philosophy of accepting all species, and our ability to provide care for such a wide variety of creatures makes the Animal RescueLeague truly unique. We are the only shelter in the region that takes in and cares for both wild and domestic animals. If not for the Animal Rescue League’s open door policy of accepting all domestic animals, regardless of age, health or temperament, many of these precious animals would have no where to go. ”Open Door” means that every animal finds shelter here, every day.
Activity: Selling 2012 Penguins and Paws calendars that feature Pittsburgh Penguins with some of our adoptable animals. We will also have some of our adoptable animals present.
The Animal Rescue League is an Open-Door Shelter and refuses no animal in need.
