Visit Birds of a Feather online.
We are two friends, Katie and Emily, who create hand painted jewelry. Our jewelry is made of buttons, some vintage and some new. We use our love of family, home, Pittsburgh, food and animals as subject matter. We find that we mostly use acrylic paint, very sharp pencils, and tiny brushes to create the miniature paintings found on our jewelry. In addition to our jewelry, we also do sassy, fun paintings to hang on the wall, which range from being food themed to Pittsburgh themed. All of our work has the same feel‚ sweet, vintage, small, and light hearted.
