Free Range Pottery
I have been making pots as part of my daily or weekly routine since 2001. Most of my education around pottery is self or community taught, and I find that I enjoy the environment of an artistic community for the ability to continue my own education and to help others learn as well. My work is functional before all else, and knowing that a piece will be used daily is the driving force behind my creative process. Through regular use, a functional piece is actively appreciated for its form and design.
