I live with my lovely partner in Raleigh, North Carolina.  I work full-time as an autism specialist, but I come from a family of makers and love being busy with my hands.  I love working with fiber, and my work explores many different aspects of creating with different textiles and fibers.  Much of my work in this market features hand-printed fabrics, which is a time-intensive process, but very relaxing at the end of a long day.  I also try to use recycled and repurposed materials where possible, and we are lucky in the Raleigh-Durham area to have a wonderful recycled materials warehouse where I find a lot of great items for crafting.
