Based in Pittsburgh, Rebecca has 12 years of experience in wedding photography, event coverage, portraiture and fine art. Rebecca earned an Associate Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1996. The photography skills she learned there led her to the business of photography. She found her direction by working in many different aspects of the field but wanted to learn more. Rebecca returned to school and earned her Bachelor of Science with honors in photography in 2006.
Rebecca’s personal work seeks to find the beauty that Mother Nature creates over time on the discarded works of man. She is drawn to the different colors and textures that emerge on abandoned cars, equipment, buses, trolleys, signs and buildings. Several of her works have been exhibited in the “Sirani Gallery”, “15 Minutes Gallery” , “Christine Frechard Gallery” and the “Celebrate Art, Celebrate Life” benefit art auction for the past three years.
Work has been exhibited at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in 2010 and 2011 and the upcoming South Side Works Exposed in July 2011. Publications include TEQ, Made in PA, Pitt Pharmacy News, and the Higher Education Chronicle. Her clients include such business as: World Wildlife Fund, BNY Mellon, Northwest Mutual Bank, Pittsburgh Technology Council, Catalyst Connection, Carnegie Mellon University, and The University of Pittsburgh.
