Carla Morris started sewing 4 years ago after her daughter was born. She creates hats, neck warmers, other clothes, and accessories out of recycled wool sweaters, vintage buttons, recycled fabric, found items, and paint. Carla loves to give new life to things that would otherwise end up in the landfill. She went to college in New Orleans but spent most of her time absorbing the eclectic style and color of it. That style is reflected in her fun and one of a kind designs. Carla was born and raised and lived as a true yinzer in Pittsburgh, PA (smack in the middle of Oakland) until her husband’s job took the family to Rochester, NY. She sells her work mostly at little independent art shows but also has some things at a few galleries around the states.
