Beth Anderson, Repurposed On Purpose
What started as a hobby to keep her sanity as a stay-at-home mom turned Beth Anderson onto a journey that changed her life. Beth is an artist that creates unique and one of a kind pieces out of used shipping pallets and other repurposed items. She is passionate about finding something old and useless and making it into something beautiful. If you are looking for a piece of art with precision and perfectly square corners, you may not appreciate the exquisiteness of Beth’s work. Beth believes that the beauty of a piece lies within its imperfections and embraces this philosophy as she creates each and every piece.
Beth is an accidental artist who grew up shadowing her hobbyist dad as he built houses, stained glass windows and Adirondack furniture. As an adult, Beth began taking courses such as flower arranging and pottery as a way to foster her creativity. She quickly realized that she had a passion for creating and found her outlet through Repurposed on Purpose. Beth’s customers consider her to be unique, imaginative, and easy to work with. Her favorite element of creating art is working with a client to craft a distinctive piece that speaks to them and defines their personality.
When Beth is not creating, you can find her spending time with her family, hiking, or sitting by a river. She loves to be with friends and family and also enjoys watching a great baseball or football game. You can find Beth’s work displayed at Blue Olive Gallery in Tarentum, Backyard Gardens in Ohiopyle and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. She has participated in local festivals such as, Music in the Mountains, Three Rivers Arts Festival, and I Made It! Market. Beth lives with her husband and two boys in Ohiopyle, PA.
