About what I do…..
I stitch “samplers”– hand stitched sentiments that I then stain to give a
primitive look. I also make purses and pillows from vintage chenille, and
recycled blue jeans.
My grandmother first taught me how to embroider when I was a young girl,
but since then I’ve done all kinds of needlework. I started to create my
own unique pieces when my boys were young and I was looking for a creative
outlet. I frame some of my hand stitched sentiments, some I make into
pillows, and I also make ornaments. I love the simplicity of my creations,
and how much meaning some of them have….some with very little wording. I
also enjoy creating some that are just plain fun and whimsical!! I also
create purses and pillows from vintage chenille. I love vintage
chenille–there is something about it that is so comforting to me. Please

I take great pride in my work, that is why I love handmade items, you give
a little of yourself with each creation, and I really think that makes them
special.
A little about me…I’m so close to being 50 years old it is almost
funny!!!! I’m happily married to a great guy, we have two wonderful teenage
boys, and a very spoiled Jack-a-Poo we call Sam–Samantha when she is bad!.
During the school year I’m a teacher’s aide at Wise Little Owl Preschool and
I’m also a Realtor with Prudential. I stitch as often as I can. Should I
tell you my Zodiac sign is Gemini–or is that obvious???
I love to laugh and I do truly believe that life is–PDG!!(pretty darn good)
