Tiny Mammoth Knits
I am a self-taught fiber artist from Boston, MA. I have been a hand knitter for about 6 years and have taught classes on hand knitting as well as knit sample garments for yarn stores. Over the past few years I dabbled with weaving, only to realize that my true passion is in knit fabrics. This has led me to become a machine knitter where I can design and produce fabric much faster than I ever could with handknitting. Currently I have been experimenting with intarsia/ fairisle patterns inspired by screenprinting where I take high contrast pictures and translate them into knit fabric.
