TIPSYcycled

TipsyCycled started after one of my family Thanksgiving feasts. My mother is one of 6 kids and between the 6 kids they all married and produced a total of 14 kids in 14 years. I was the 10th addition to our family. 8 of those 14 kids have married and produced 12 more lil ones all under the age 6. Now my cousins who are younger than me are in serious relationships and getting engaged.

The point I’m making is that this past year between the immediate family, their offspring, their offspring’s offspring, all the ”plus ones”, and a few family friends, our Thanksgiving table seated 54 this year, all offspring of my Grandma and Grandpa Oliver. The 6 turkeys, 5 green bean casseroles, 35 pounds of mashed potatoes, and 35 bottles of wine were barely enough! I have a huge family that fortunately all live within an hour drive of my hometown near Chicago.

With that being said my entire family is a big wine drinking family! That, combined with my inner drive to create functional crafts from everyday recyclable materials has started me on this crafting endeavor. This past holiday season I decided to take all those empty bottles and experiment with them in various ways.  That experimentation turned into honing in on a couple items, which has turned into the products I am currently specializing in and TipsyCycling!
